From Galway city, travel towards Clifden and return via the coast rd. and the Gaeltacht. After Galway, head to Moycullen and pay a visit to Brigit's Garden which takes you on a journey through the sacred spiral of the seasons into the heart of Celtic mythology, folklore and heritage.

From Moycullen take a stop at Kylemore Abbey & Garden. Kylemore Abbey is the Monastic home of the Benedictine Order of Nuns in Ireland. While there you can visit the Visitor Centre, Pottery Studio, Craft & Retail Shop and the Restaurant.

Travel into Clifden and visit the Station House Museum which is a great accommodation and dining base.

After Clifden tour the R341 via Ballyconneely where you can visit the Connemara Smoke House which specialise in smoked salmon and tuna. On the Smokehouse Tour, you can watch how they fillet and traditionally prepare the salmon, then hand-slice and pack the finished product and enjoy a tasting of the fantastic Smoked Salmon.
