Barrier Free Tolling in Dublin
At Avis, we want your journey through Ireland to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible, for that reason we are making changes to how our customers pay their tolls for the m50 Barrier Free Toll in Dublin.
From February 1st renters crossing the m50 Barrier Free Toll will no longer need to pay for tolls on eFlow.ie or at Payzone stations, as all our vehicles will be registered with eFlow for automatic payment processing. Toll charges will be automatically billed to the customer’s payment card three days after the rental period ends.
- The toll cost is €3.80 for cars and €4.80 for vans. Additionally, a €1.00 processing fee applies per crossing.
- Customers picking up in Northern Ireland will be charged a GBP equivalent for the toll and a £1.00 processing fee.

- This process covers the M50 only. Customers should pay at the Toll booth on all other roads.
For Renters who picked up their car or van before February 1st the process for paying is outlined below:
The toll fee is currently €3.80 for vehicles with seating for up to 8 passengers and €4.80 for vehicles that can seat 9 or more passengers.
It is the renters responsibility to ensure all tolls are paid by 8pm the day following the journey. It is important to pay on time to avoid penalties or fines from the NRA (National Roads Authority).

By Phone
Pay with your credit card over the phone by calling 1890 50 10 50 or +800 50 10 50 11 (outside of Ireland)
Payzone
Payzone branded outlets throughout the country will accept toll payment by cash.
