Additional Driver from Avis

When you book your Avis hire car, only the main driver is covered to drive the vehicle. However, with the Avis ‘Additional Driver’ option, you can choose to add extra drivers to your rental as desired.
It's important to understand any additional drivers you decide to add to your rental agreement must comply and agree to the same rental terms and conditions as the main driver.
We’ll leave it to you to decide whose turn it is to take the wheel.
Book an Additional Driver
Booking
It's easy to pre-book an additional driver, the option is available under the 'Choose your extras' section of the website booking process after you have chosen your car. It is also possible to add an additional driver to an existing booking using the 'Manage Booking' facility.
Cost
In Ireland an extra driver cost's €9.50 per day (including VAT).
Driver Requirements
Ensure each driver brings along their driving licence and they fulfil the driver requirements and understand the rental conditions.
